Launch Campaign — Our mandate: Tuxedo was mandated to create the print, video and digital assets for the new Drakkar Essence campaign featuring NFL superstar Cam Newton in order to raise awareness and create excitement surrounding the launch of the new fragrance for men. Our solution: Showcase Cam Newton in his natural football element to embody the bold, confident and strong brand personality. Keep the image simple yet convincing with strategic styling and artistic direction to project the mood of Drakkar Essence. Create a behind the scenes video and a 30-sec digital video to leverage Cam’s association with the brand and raise awareness & excitement around the launch. Our result: A strong and impactful campaign that demonstrated Cam Newton as aspirational yet attainable as the face of Drakkar Essence, creating an emotional connection with the consumer.
